Lollycrisp Vintage has been on of my favorite etsy shops for awhile now. And they have opened a new brick and mortar store in Northern Liberties in Philly called Oma Vintage. I love the clean, simple website and I can't wait to visit the actual store. They sell clothes and accessories for men, women and children.

I feel blessed to live in a nice, dense, walkable town and then drive 5 minutes out into the country to see beautiful things like this. Obviously the picture does no justice to the real thing. We were on our way back from dinner Saturday night and turned around twice to take pictures of the moon and the mist that had fallen over the farm. On the left, barely visible, is the sweetest barn in our county.
Coming back from a vacation, even just a five-day one, is hard. The three of us had a great time, relaxing, eating and laughing a lot. When I got home yesterday I threw myself back into normal life unpacking, sorting and doing laundry and moving our bed (more about that later!). I still felt a bit sad last night and today I thought I saw a few palm trees on my way to the library during lunch (and I can tell you for sure that we do not have palm trees here in WC).

This is my first official beachy vacation (other than to Jersey and Delaware). We'll see if I can get myself to really relax. ?!? I have two books to take with me. Eat, Pray, Love (technically my second reading of this, since I had to return it to the library and skimmed through the second half) and Mediterranean Summer (given to me by my mom, it combines our loves: cooking and traveling!).

There was a chance I was going to get to go to Salt Lake again with the boy (who's on a business trip) but it didn't work out. So I am here. And it's like the 100th day (a little overstated) in a row that I have woken up to thick cloud cover. Ahhhh. Get me out of here. I'm starved for Vitamin D and can't wait to have the sun on my face. I'm also ready to hit the road. To where? I don't know. I'd even take a weekend away even if it's only a hours drive away.
My parents are considering going to London to visit my Irish cousins in September. And it's pretty much all I can think about. I am already compiling my shopping list and stores to visit if I actually get than chance to go. But the stars have to align. Money and other things need to be considered.
In the meantime I am looking forward to: the end of tax season when I get my husband back, the spring and planting some Purple Allium and the summer and going to the beach. I promise when it's 99 degrees in August I won't complain about it.
